Laugh, Laugh, and Laugh Some More

Wonderful World of Christie..Diary From My Last Few Days...

Seriously, shopping for panties shouldn't be this hard! They're either Teeny Tiny, why even wear them, or granny panties! Then having your 17 year old get frustrated with you....delightful.
"Mommy, It's not the 90's."
"Well, frankly I'd go back in Time and stock up on VS from back then!"

Then great advice from the husband.
Me: Tom can you see my leopard print bra through this top (thin yet totally black top) ? Tom: Oh no Hunny you look great! Out at the store with girls. K: Nice leopard print bra mommy. Way to be sexy! Thanks Hunny! Just waiting for my boobs to show up on Walmart!

Humor keeps us happy! Laugh, Love, and then Laugh some more friends. It can help us during our lowest moments.

She's Staying Up!

Wonderful World of Christie's Diary.... from the day after Christmas!

Well, I'm leaving up my sparkling winter wonderland for another few days! Am I still feeling totally Christmassy? I think I'm just ready to relax and just soak the rest of the year in while I can, before it's too late. Everything seems to have quieted down and I'm all caught up on the laundry that needed to be folded and hung! Now I think I'll chill for a bit and have an iced tea. Cheer my love bugs!
I hope Santa brought you health, smiles, and joy. If he didn't, then I am sending you wishes of love and joy!
Until my Wonderful World arrives tomorrow...

When The Wii Craps Out Two Nights Before Christmas!

Wonderful World Of Christie's Diary Of Two Nights Before Christmas!

Twas two nights before Christmas and all through the house everything was cozy and nowhere a mouse! The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be here.
The problem arose when the kids chose to play, a game on the Wii to pass some time away.
The disk was gently put in the machine that is the Wii,
But it did not see the game in when the remote pressed Said Wii.
The reset was pressed.
The game was unplugged.
The disks were wiped clean, yet to no resolve.
Mrs. Claus ran to Walmart at 10PM, in hopes to beat the crazy crowds the Eve to be.
The opti cleaner recommended did not work and the games are still out of luck because of the dirt.
Please oh please, don't make me go buy a new Wii, but gifts on the list will need home to be played.
What to do?
Oh what to do?
Maybe a hot toddy will bring a new veiw.
The option is clear and with full cheer Mrs. Claus wiill drive to the Wall of all Marts,
Full with Christmas Eve Cheer.

The only
Sigh.

Until it's the night before Christmas...

Reality Shows and Pinterest and Of Course FB!...Oh and Words With Friends!

Wonderful World of Christie Diaries From My Not So Secret Addictions!

Let's just start with Pinterest. Is there anything more addicting than looking at other's works of perfection? Seriously, how many Martha's are out there with perfect rooms, crafts, quotes, and dating your husband ideas?! I'll tell you that there are so many that I feel a little less than superior at this moment! LOL! It's OK. I know my talent lies in the unknown, at this moment in time. I am the epitome of a multitasker, who tries. I'm addicted to do the "idea" of completing one of these projects on my Pinterest boards! What greatness I would feel to be an over achiever at something for the house or my style!

Reality Show are another addiction that I am not embarrassed to admit I watch on a nightly or daily basis! Why not? Screw you Real World! You were the beginning of the end of real TV. You brought us the beginning addictions to REALITY! It Started in NY and went to LA. Then the Osborn's and Nick with Jessica really got me wrapped up and buying all the smut in hopes that the rumors of Nick and Jess breaking up wasn't true! Sadly, the newlyweds broke up and then there was the Bachelor! The Damn Bachelors and their screwing ways! If it weren't for Tristan I and her grand wedding my hope for real love on that show would be lost! Kelly Clarkson brought us Idol and despite Clay Aiken and "The Gray Haired Guy" it's been a fixture in my world. It's just not idol, though, without Simon! Why fake it? Seriously...no Simon equals no Idol. I could go on, but I'll just end with Tori and Dean. Aaaaahhhh, Tori has made me fall in love and reminisce about my 90210 years. She made up with her mom and all her Tori businesses make her a force! Yay! I love the underdog coming out on top!

Hmmmm, now I'm on to FB. Is there anything that's been more life changing in the last couple of years? New friends, old friends, blog friends come to life, and crazy picture stalking come to life. Admit it, because I know I'm not the only picture stalker! LOL.

Facebook has led to Words With Friends! I love my WWF addicts who keep the daily word search alive. I used to check my email first, but now it's Facebook and WWF! LOL. Live on my addictions. I don't foresee any twelve step group anytime soon, but I surely understand Alec Baldwin flipping his lid and slamming a bathroom door when he probably had a great word or in the midst of reshuffling the tiles in hopes of a win!

Until I get through my addictions of the day..we will meet again,
xoxo

I Love Words...

Wonderful World of Christie's Diary Of My Love For Words

“Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts. So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.”
Hope Floats

Operation Bring Home Daddy Clause and Those Damn Weiners!

Wonderful World of Christie diary of Mrs. Clause waiting on Operation Daddy Clause To Get Home From Afghanistan!

Well Hubby's flight, not the two out of Afghanistan, but the one out of Qatar was delayed delayed delayed. It was because of a "broken" plane. Well, we've waited this long and a little longer is not a big deal at all! I'm just glad and so excited he gets to come home for Christmas. My girls are so happy DADDY is coming home! My son might be worried about what he's getting for Christmas, but then he said, "Well, I am being spoiled. The most important thing is Daddy coming home. I hate it when he's away." Sigh. And I thought he was being, indeed, spoiled.

Friday night I was at the mall, what the hell was I thinking, with the kids.  The boy decided he was going to become dramatic about gifts. WTH? He doesn't get like this, it's usually the girls. He was upset we were at the mall. He was pissed. He just wanted to get to the Apple Store! It's about others, he always tells his sisters. Maybe it was just him being overtired, but seriously I was done. I was driven to drink! I needed a Starbucks! I wanted a Gingerbread Latte and I didn't want it skinny! LOL! I walked in and the kids began to fight over who was going to get shotgun! I hate that term...Shotgun! Has it really come down to me needing to make a rotating seating chart?! Seriously.

Well, I was ready to scrap it all and just cry. My oldest came over and said, "Remember mommy your hormonal and it's late." Once again, someonen is telling me it's my period that's making me have a mood. Well, OK...Christmas could still be on and I would go chill. Finally my boy came over and hugged me. He was sorry. Then he said he figured out why he was in such a bad mood. Wait for it!

"Mommy, when we walked past that girly store with all the sparkled underwear, my wiener was hard and it hurt. Then I got in a worse mood when we went to that girl store that had all the perfumes and candles (bath and body works) I was really mad. I just wanted to find a boy store. I'm sorry mommy."

Well, that damn wiener! It's always about the men and their wieners! LOL. My poor buddy was just embarrassed. After he thought he broke his "wiener" the night before, I can understand him being pissed. Those damn sparkles on bras and G-strings can get those wieners all the time!

So bring home my Hubby Santa, Please! I need some extra testosterone in the house. The little guy needs big daddy to explain the wiener issues! I'm ill equipped in that area! Operation Bring Home Daddy Clause needs to happen ASAP!
